Shipping costs will vary depending on the item weight, the number of items ordered, the method & shipper being used, and the state that it’s going to. Once you add the items to your cart and enter your zip code, the shipping cost will be displayed.

Shipping fees are weight-based. They include shipping and a small fee (Delivery Confirmation) to help defray cost of Insurance, which is automatically included on every order. We do not charge any packaging or handling fees. In most cases the Insurance delivery confirmation fee does not exceed $4.00 per order (Domestic ,US insurance only fee). This fee is added in addition to the weight based shipping fee, and is automatically calculated in the total cost of shipping during checkout. This insurance fee includes Delivery Confirmation on Domestic Shipments, and Insurance. Please inquire email us prior to ordering regarding International insurance shipping fee cost.We include insurance on every order because you are important to us and we know your wedding day is important to you. If we did not include an small insurance fee your items would be at risk if lost or stolen and you would have no recourse for reimbursement from your chosen postal carrier.

We do not ship to PO Boxes. Customers must provide a physical delivery address when placing an order.

We strive to do the best possible job of insuring your package arrives and is protected as best as possible.

Shipping Methods :

Orders are normally processed within 24 hours after receipt and are shipped within 2 to 4 business days thereafter for items that are in stock. If items in a group are from multiple manufacturers shipping time may be within 5 to 7 days. Since we carry a variety of manufacturers, not all items are always in stock. we will notify you if an item is not in stock and try to suggest an alternative, order the item on backorder and ship all items once an order is complete or cancel your order at your request. Note: Items prepaid on back order are non refundable. Ocassional Delays are possible if unforeseeable circumstances arise. Orders are shipped via USPS and UPS only.

Once your order has been shipped you will be notified via email. You will be emailed an Automatic Shipment Notification when your order has been shipped. This email confirmation includes a link to the online tracking number and a copy of your invoice.

Delivery confirmation (Online Tracking) is provided on all A Crown Affaire Domestic item shipments. Online tracking is not available for International customers, however we will provide information for you to track your shipment.

Shipping Insurance and Registered Mail Information

Domestic Shipping insurance is includedon all items as stated above. International Customers please email us for information.

Estimated Domestic Shipping Times 

  • USPS First Class mail can take up to 7 days for delivery.
  • USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation can take 1-4 days to arrive to you depending the state you live in and the point of shipping origin.
  • USPS Express Mail may be delivered overnight, but the USPS doesn’t guarantee it. However, they do guarantee Epress mail to be delivered in 2 days.
  • UPS Ground can take up to 6 business days for delivery, depending the state you live in and the point of shipping origin.
  • UPS 2 day is delivered in 2 days, if received before their daily cut off times. Please be aware that the transit days are based on 5 working days and do not include Saturday, Sunday or Holidays.

Please note: All Custom orders require 2 weeks time plus shipping.


UPS may require signatures on expedited parcels they deem ‘residential’. This classification may apply even if there is a business operating out of that address. A Crown Affaire has no liability for deliveries not made due to lack of signature. A Crown Affaire has no responsibility for packages that may be stolen after being deemed delivered by the carrier.


Freight and insurance are based on current posted rates. Any freight carrier surcharges (such as change of address, incorrect address, refused or undeliverable packages, etc.) will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Delays:

Normal delivery times are noted in the Shipping section. These are Postal Service Estimates only. We can not guarantee any Delivery time estimates noted by the Postal Service. We always strive for customer satisfaction. However, some shipping delays are beyond our control such as weather and Postal Service delivery errors. In order to ensure your order arrives promptly please review all information submitted before processing orders.

Loss or Damage by Postal Service:

The customer is responsible for shipping. We do not refund shipping charges. We are not responsible for damaged or lost return packages caused by the Postal Service. We do strongly recommend that you use a shipper with a traceable shipping method as we cannot be responsible for damaged or lost return packages. We package professionally to help insure safe delivery. Every effort is made to ensure your items arrive safely and securely.  Any concerns of loss or damage once an item leaves here insured needs to be adressed by the chosen postal carrier. We will however do our very best to help by providing you with all the necessary information to resolve any matters that may arise.
